Although the co-owner, itw india ltd along with his father, New Lariopress Fenegrò (CO), Stefano Tonon, thirty year old mechanical engineer, every day is in the shop as his collaborators, alternating with them in the workings of the sheet forming presses, welders, and especially , laser cutting plant that he found so fascinating. With the enthusiasm itw india ltd typical of his young age looks to the future with optimism and with a dream: to become professionally as good as the company's founders: itw india ltd the parent and uncle.
Your relationship with the packaging industry is long over, something created especially itw india ltd for it? The energies of the company are almost entirely restricted to a well-established local companies producing a wide range of machines and equipment for packaging exported all over the world: from taping machines for closure itw india ltd of cardboard boxes in shrink film, wrapper pallet with stretch film dispenser adhesive tapes. For this type of products we produce a myriad of components, mainly of small size, starting from metal sheets (80%) and ribbons (20%). itw india ltd
Among the requested items there are also some characterized by large numbers? Unfortunately, the high production are now a thing of the past. Currently the particular we are concerned about is the shoulder for adhesive tape dispensers, the one with the stressed pin. His numbers, however, before close to one million units annually, now have been reduced a lot, more than 50%. The market has changed itw india ltd from a few years ago and now the contracts relate in particular to different pieces in small quantities.
And how have you adapted to this change? Trying to become more flexible and faster to meet the customer's requirements today increasingly characterized by urgency and thus delivery sucked. To achieve this aim and, above all, to remain competitive in the market about a year and a half ago, we have enriched itw india ltd the fleet with a laser cutting machine 2000 Watts of power which today allows us to perform any particular form, starting from steel sheets steel and iron with minimum thickness and maximum, respectively, of 0.5-4 mm and 1-10 mm. Today this plant is the main source of our technological and workshop is offering us a lot of satisfaction.
What other machines turn on every day over the plant for laser cutting? In the various departments also operate two CNC forming presses, 25 and 50 tonnes, three-axis controlled electronically, with a maximum length of 2 m fold; six presses, shearing machines 25 to 180 t workers with each type of mold (progressive, to block, to head the queue); monopunzone a punch with its 25 tonne warehouse punches; a tapping; two welding, a wire and the other TIG.
Numerically presses shearing machines, symbol of high production, off of a lot of the others. Are you still able to use them properly? Sorry to note it, but presses veneer itw india ltd not "travel" like it used to, and they know it toolmakers to which we turn a lot, but much less so than a few years ago; the last order sent to one of our toolmakers trust concerns precisely the tape dispenser before mentioned for which it was necessary to a progressive die. After all we know that the use of the press, considering the high cost of molds, it is justified only if you need to produce a thousand pieces on a single particular, the fact that, as mentioned above, it is quite rare today. And so more and more often is more economical use of other processing technologies, such as laser.
Among the various technologies of processing of sheet metal which they evolved the most in recent years? I think everyone will agree in the first mention laser cutting; should not be neglected but also the substantial progress made by punching with the introduction of electric cars instead of hydraulic ones. These versions today are characterized by high speed and in a few turn out to be the most competitive because in addition to punching laser can also bend and drool. In general, however, we must recognize that the entire equipment segment deformation has made huge steps forward in terms of technology facilitating our work.
The new machines itw india ltd have also become less "energy-hungry"? Certainly, even the systems for laser cutting, itw india ltd notoriously big consumers of electricity, thanks to the new fiber technology today allows considerable energy savings. Sin are very expensive which makes them inavvicinab
