Summary of work: The Sam Dawsons is mentally retarded and has the perception of a 7 year old child. She has a daughter whom he had during brief relationship with a homeless woman who abandoned them after birth. The 7 year old daughter, Lucy Diamond live under the tutelage of Sam but the problem starts when one social worker decides it's not good for Lucy to stay with him after growing up will become smarter than him and their relationship endangers the development. The Sam will start a legal battle to try to win custody of his daughter. Personal opinion: Take a mentally retarded man, put it in the eye of the storm and leave it in open seas to struggle alone with chimeras. Original huh? What I thought I when the film was first released in cinemas. What to do though? Was a time that we play just go to the movies to see. But to get things from the beginning, I do not think that this is a bad, but rather banding mtg a mundane movie based on an equally mundane idea. In fact when the whole idea is intended to blackmail our emotional field so as to cause charging and forced emotion, things somewhere cholenoun. And it is ultimately only the scenario with the lack of originality in trouble. The play is directed by itself a naivete which tries to hide behind banding mtg the sometimes naive profile protagonist. This is not necessarily bad, as long as you can cover it without eye turns your mood is. And come on, because I'm a good man, I will argue that the above is obviously due to the inexperience of the unknown director and the weak script that hours-hours seems to trick. It's not easy to close holes, especially if you have no experience. On the other is a matter of talent. Not that there are some positive elements banding mtg in the film. First and foremost, the director aptly avoids that glykanalato finale would earn the appreciation of many and even more frustration. Without good, without being ugly, makes you think that things like this should be done even if talking about a true story. Moreover, the scenes between father and daughter, besides emotional issue, hide a well rigged game exchange roles, where the child becomes the parent and child parent. On the positive side of the film should have classified banding mtg the interpretation banding mtg of Sean Penn, who in my opinion everything is a great actress and also wronged. Supports the role of the late Sam flawlessly at all levels, making even the naive those elements characterize cute. Staggering banding mtg in moments where we feel weak and lost, with a disarmingly human kindness inspiring, contemporary styles that social norms make you believe that only such people can encounter. The Michelle Pfeiffer is the dynamic that woman called to help Sam to assert his right as a father despite the weaknesses. Though we are accustomed to more sympathetic roles, manages banding mtg to support the role of the lawyer because her career has left her personal life back. However stays up there, simply fulfilling its purpose, although satisfactory, without managing to offer something special other. And I'm not sure if the role with annoyed that he did something parpano as the classicism that requires banding mtg the figure of the script. As for the little girl Dakota Fanning, in her first film role, I can say without fear that I consider one of the most talented and expressive guys I've ever seen on the big screen. With a childlike innocence combined with a strange adult maturity heads turn and I can only win our smile. Generally speaking, this is a touching human drama but fails to stand out among others of its kind. Excellent performances, human approach and a moralizing dilemma about what is what ultimately makes a good parent. The right and wrong are separated by a very thin line and we as viewers we make a decision which side you will gyroume. The decision is yours!
