18. May 2010 [Reporter] The web-based art project The Travellers Box is current with new conceptual works. New Zealand strappedinsilk Daniel Shaw and the British artist trio Tangent Projects presents the traveler strappedinsilk metal box in new surroundings.
The focal point of the networked art project The Travellers Box is a special guest metal box. The box acts as relay between a number of conceptual artists, each of which has to involve the box in a work of art. If this sounds familiar, it's because the metal casing has been on the road earlier in connection with The Travellers Secret Box and The Sandwich Box.
Lars Vilhelmsen came upon the idea of the traveler metal box back in 2004, and since then the project has not only changed its name a few times, but also undergone considerable development.
Creativity in cyberspace The framework for the project's current structure is stuck out on the trailers created website - a kind of documentary exhibition in cyberspace. Like the previous projects receive the artist object, strappedinsilk nu metal box The Travellers Box, and using it as part of the overall conceptual strappedinsilk work.
However, it is worth noting that The Travellers Box includes a stronger communication and analytical dimension than previously seen in William's projects. This means that the finished works that appear on the project website, not only documenting metal box presence, as such, but also detailing the works practical genesis and ideological background.

The new addition to the family New Zealand Daniel Shaw's work, Travellers Box Server converts the metal casing to the home of a mobile Web server strappedinsilk whose purpose is to download material from the Internet using illegal file sharing. Specifically downloads Shaw a movie from the Internet; Gus van Zandts remake of the old Hitchcock classic Psycho. The movie is not for the viewer, but Shaw documenting instead strappedinsilk using photographs, how illegal downloading is taking place.
